PV Installations

Solar capture technology is moving fast as we look to harness renewable energy sources. Accommodation of PV systems, both in new buildings and retrofits is moving quickly from rudimentary panel installation into more integrated and efficient designs. OUR PROJECTS

EXTENSION OF EXISTING A&E FACILITY. (NEW MODULAR BUILDING TO HOUSE STAFF FACILITIES)
CLIENT: EAST SUSSEX HEALTHCARE TRUST
ARCHITECT: HDS
PROJECT VALUE: £3M.
OCE were responsible for the foundation, below ground drainage design and external works on this challenging project due to the amount of below ground services running beneath the proposed building. The foundations were design as a reinforced concrete strip supporting masonry piers that supported the legs of the modular units, with a brickwork plinth around the building. The surface water drainage connected back to the main sewer via attenuation tanks positioned beneath the building. The foul water connected directly into the system.
NEW CDC FACILTY, BEXHILL
CLIENT: EAST SUSSEX HEALTHCARE TRUST
ARCHITECT: HDS
PROJECT VALUE: £3M.
Conversion of an existing Car Showroom, into a new diagnostic hub for ESHT. Consisted of new timber frame structure constructed within the existing building, new plant areas and changes to the below ground drainage. OCE were responsible for the design of the internal timber framing which supported a new ceiling and plant loadings, foundations design for the new mobile scanning units situated within the car parking areas and below ground drainage design and external works.
